Oase BioSmart Sets

The perfect introduction to proven OASE filter technology.  By means of the combination of a large filter foam surface and integrated UVC technology, the Oase Biosmart filter ensures clear and healthy pond water.  The cleaning handles enable convenient cleaning of the filter foams without the need for removal of the foams.  The integrated pollution level indicator signals the right moment for cleaning.  The sets are supplied with an optimally matched filtration pump.

Oase Biosys Screenmatic Sets

Innovation - made by Oase.  The biological-mechanical filtering function together with the outstanding technology of a rotating 300 micron screen for elimination of course debris guarantees clear and healthy water, and a low maintenance requirement.  The screen rotates approximately once every 30 minutes and deposits the course debris that has been collected into an easy too empty tray.  These filters incorporate a cleaning handle and sludge outlet so that you do not need to get wet or dirty when cleaning the very efficient 16 sponges that are contained inside. There are also Zeolite canisters inside the filter for additional biological performance (3kg in the 12 and 6kg in the 18)

Pond Creations Opinion;  Serious bit of kit and well worth the extra expense if your pocket allows.  

Very efficient on larger ponds and easy to maintain with the usual Oase reliability you can't go wrong.

Filtomatic Sets CWS

With the Filtomatic Set CWS (clear water system) Oase makes it easy to select the right filter system for your pond, as the model number matches the maximum size of pond that it can filter with goldfish homed in it. The Filtomatic incorporates an ingenious sludge removal system that can be set by the operator to discharge the sludge automatically (or manually) as required and up to eight times a day.  As the Filter is computerised it also controls the built in uvc so that it is only on when needed and this can reduced the annual running costs by up to 40%.  What more can you ask for than a filter system that automatically discharges the majority of the muck that it has collected, leaving far less less frequent cleaning for you to do.

Pond Creations Opinion;  Too new to make a judgement yet but first impressions are very interesting and going by Oase's past performance I doubt very much that you would be disappointed.  The small amount of water that your pond will lose (around 3 Litres) each time the filter discharges it's sludge is minimal and to be fair you should give your pond regular water changes and anyway it is probably no more than you will lose by cleaning another filter manually.

The pressure filter with integrated UVC clarifier quickly and effectively ensures clear pond enjoyment.  Clear water Guaranteed! However that not all; The all round talent is also appealing due to it's unique and convenient cleaning of the filter.  Unlike other pressurised filters that claim to clean themselves with water pressure alone this filter really works as it also incorporates a handle that enables the filter foams to be manually squeezed.  The enclosed pressurised design allows the filter to be partially buried and it can also be installed below the height of a waterfall therefore achieving a far more discrete look.

Pond Creations Opinion;  The Filtoclear sets are genuinely very good indeed and also have our highest recommendation.  On the largest filter unit it does take a reasonable pull on the handle when cleaning and as such if the owner is frail or has arthritis this could be difficult but the vast majority will have no problem at all
