Filter Pumps
Placed in the deepest part
of the pond so that they can pump the muck out of the pond into the
filter, where it is easier to clean away. You should typically
choose a pump which will put 2/3 of the ponds gallonage through the
filter each hour (i.e. a 6000L pond ideally requires a 4000Lph pump). |

Oase
The Aquamax pond pump includes an additional satellite casing and can handle solids up to 10mm
with an exceptional performance for minimal power consumption.
The Aquamax can now withstand temperatures as low as -20 degree Celsius
and as such is suitable for year round usage. They
are a top quality pump which will provide years of reliable
performance. The Promax
range of filter pumps are essentially two pumps in one larger casing
and include a remote control flow adjuster as standard. They all come with 10m of cable and a three year
warranty which can be extended to 5 years by sending the enclosed
warranty card off to Oase.

Blagdon
The Torrent Range of

impellor which actually reverses and clears any blockages
automatically. They are a little higher on the wattage but do
provide an excellent head for a low initial outlay.
