Filter Pumps

Placed in the deepest part of the pond so that they can pump the muck out of the pond into the filter, where it is easier to clean away. You should typically choose a pump which will put 2/3 of the ponds gallonage through the filter each hour (i.e. a 6000L pond ideally requires a 4000Lph pump). They are also the ideal pumps to run waterfalls. When calculating the size of pump you require it is important to allow for the effort required by the pump to lift the water to the filter or top of a waterfall. Aquamax Eco CWS (Latest 2009 Model)

The Aquamax Eco pond pump can handle solids up to 10mm with an exceptional performance for minimal power consumption. The Aquamax can now withstand temperatures as low as -20 degree Celsius and as such is suitable for year round usage. The cage on the CWS version is exceptionally easy to open for maintenance and incorporates a second inlet function which enables the pump to also draw water from an additional satellite cage or surface skimmer if required (both optional extras) They are a top quality pump which will provide years of reliable performance. The 12 and 16,000 models incorporate the SFC (Seasonal Flow Control) system so that you can reduce the outflow and save on the electricity bills during the colder months. They come with 10m of cable and a three year warranty which can be extended to 5 years by sending the enclosed warranty card off to Oase.

The Aquamax Start range offers an alternative to the Aquamax Eco CWS range. Although they are not equipped with the addition inlet function like the Eco version they are still a very reliable and high quality pump. They can handle solids up to 8mm in size

Like the Aquamax Eco they come with 10m of cable and a three year warranty which can be extended to 5 years by sending the enclosed warranty card off to Oase.

Promax

The Promax range of filter pumps are essentially two energy saving motors in a larger casing and include a remote control flow adjuster that enables each motor to be turned on/off individually, or for the pairs flow to be regulated as required. They can easily handle solids up to 8mm and are ideal for shifting larger volumes of water without using excessive electricity consumption. The Promax has the ability to utilise one motor to draw water at full power from a surface skimmer or satellite cage (both optional extras) whilst the other motor draws water and waste from the base of the pond. They come with a three year warranty which can be extended to 5 years by sending the enclosed warranty card off to Oase.
